This Weeks Bible Verse is From: James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

4 & 5 Alive!

What is 4 & 5 Alive?
This program offers a loving Christian atmosphere for those children looking for a special time of fun and fellowship with friends of their own age. All 4th and 5th graders are invited to participate in the 4 & 5 Alive! program. They are encouraged to bring their friends to the monthly events, which provide them an exciting way to witness to their friends and show them how God works in their lives.

What does 4 & 5 Alive do?
Our goal in 4 & 5 Alive! is to sponsor Christ-centered, fun activities for all involved. We wish to create an environment where kids can be kids, rejoicing in the truth that they are God's special children.

We look forward to having parent / youth events each year. These events are meant to help families grow closer to one another. "Step-Out" activities are part of our goal plan. Events away from the church building have included roller skating, bowling, singing at a local nursing home, and tubing at Swain!

Service projects are important to 4 & 5 Alive! We anticipate two projects a year, such as decorating boxes for our annual Thanksgiving food basket delivery and making Christmas cards for hospital patients.

Sign up for events is on the 4 & 5 Alive! bulletin board!
