What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

I hope you're free this weekend, because I'd like you to check out my church. I think you're going to really enjoy it! It's kind of like seeing a really good movie or finding a great restaurant; you want people to know about it. That's why I'm inviting you. It's called Hope Lutheran Church, and it's not like any church I've ever been to before. Every week there are messages that are relevant and answer questions we all struggle with. Some weeks, in the middle and late services, there are live dramas that set up these messages that relate to everyday life. The music is great too, with songs like you would hear on the radio. Don't worry; you won't have to dress up in your Sunday best. It's really a relaxed and casual setting. There are actually three different services each Sunday morning: at 8:15, which is a little more traditional, 9:45 with a contemporary live band and 11:15 that's kind of a blend of the first two. And it's easy to get to: take 390 North and get off on the Vintage Lane exit, just north of Rt 104. Take a left (west) and it's about 1/2 mile up the road on the left hand side - you can't miss it: 1301 Vintage Lane. I hope you can make it!
