Hope's Medical Team is going to Honduras this month.
The Construction Team is still going to Nicaragua.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be matching all financial donations made to the Honduras/Nicarugua Mission Trip. Donations will be matched $1.00 for every $4.00 raised. Envelopes for donations are available at the Missions Table near the Family Life Center. Please make checks payable to "Hope Church" and leave them in the church office. Thank you for your support.

Altar Flower Delivery

The Sunday morning altar flowers are made into smaller arrangements and are taken to our sick, hospitalized and shut in members.
Receptions for Bereavement
Leader: Sandy Coloney
Meals or refreshments are provided at the church, at the request of the family, following a funeral or a memorial service.
Meals Ministry

Meals for the family when a parent is hospitalized or home recuperating.
Transportation
Leader: Norma Thom
Volunteers transport members to and from church services, doctor’s apts., and shopping, when there is no family help available.
Community Outreach
Alternatives for Battered Women
Leader: Nancy Kaiser
Donations of personal care items as well as clothing are collected for the women and children that turn to ABW for safety.
Camp Pioneer
Two servant events a year are available to help get camp ready for the season.
Community Lutheran

Donations are collected for both the after school program and the neighboring residents of Community Lutheran.
CompassCare Pregnancy Services

We participate in the annual fund raiser “Walk for Life” and festival.
Greece Food Shelf

Food is collected throughout the year, with special collections in February, at VBS and in November for Thanksgiving.
Journey Home

Donations of items needed for everyday household living are collected to reduce the cost of running this nonprofit hospice home.
Nursing Home Worship and Activities

Worship Services are held at area nursing homes by Members of Hope.
Nursing Home Activities

We assist the residents playing Bingo and provide prizes at two of the homes.
Global Outreach
Bethesda Lutheran Homes

Labels are collected and sent to Bethesda, where they are turned into credit on many items.
Bookrack Ministry

Books and other religious materials are collected and distributed throughout the world.
Compassion

An opportunity to sponsor a child in need through a Christian organization.
Habitat for Humanities

We joined together with 10 other churches in Greece to physically and financially build a house in Rochester. We will do this project every two years.
Lutheran Bible Translators
Hope supports missionaries Nathan and Sarah Esala in Ghana.
Lutheran Hour Ministries

Schedules for Christian programming are provided. Lutheran Hour Ministries programs involve sending a box filled with necessities from one to another in less fortunate countries.
Lutherans for Life

Provides awareness of the need to save the lives of unborn children and stop abortion.
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League
Leader: Tammy Davidson
Lutheran women join together to support missions. Twice a year local women meet in fellowship to perform a mission project. Mites are collected year round to support missions.

A project of Samaritan’s Purse where a shoebox is filled with age appropriate items for needy children in other countries.
Orphan Grain Train

Donations of home medical supplies are collected for this healthcare support organization.
Quilting for Hope
Leader: Fran Spindler
They meet two-three times each month to assemble quilts for Lutheran World Relief with a goal of making 100 quilts each year.
