In a few short years, Hope Kids’ will have a new huge space to GATHER!
This space will have plenty of room for all grades to enjoy time with friends on Sunday morning as well as kids’ worship and study time. The potential extra classroom space will benefit all Hope Kids’ Ministry areas!
It is a very exciting time! As the 2020 campaign kicks off, I am beginning to visualize the space. One of the most exciting parts of this new space for me as Director of Kids’ Ministry, will be the stage and updated tech equipment. This will allow for a variety of family and Hope Christian Preschool events such as Kids’ Christmas service, Bible Sunday, preschool thanksgiving feasts, Hope family events and another area for VBS.
The kids’ are the most excited about the prospect of a large indoor playground and interactive play space! This 21st century kids’ area will be designed for children 6 weeks through age twelve. It will include age-appropriate interactive games and a large play space for all ages to have fun with family and friends. Parents will be able to relax and have a cup of coffee while their children play in a safe environment. I expect this indoor area will get much use during long Rochester winters.
What a great opportunity for Hope families to GO out and invite the community into our building. I look forward to seeing and meeting new families. I look forward to Hope Vision 2020 and what we can accomplish for the children here now, and those yet to come!
