The Gospel: The Heart of the Five G's

The truth is that all of us are at different points on our journey of faith and yet we share the same starting line: the Gospel. “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. You may have heard those words before or seen the scripture reference every time an NFL kicker attempts a field goal. Our prayer is that you truly experience them. How? As you Gather, Grow, Give and Go:

GOSPEL

GATHER

GROW

GIVE

GO

Gospel

Jesus is life. Live for Him (John 10:10).

Gather

We were created to worship. Worship Him (Psalm 122:1, Romans 12:1).

Grow

Disciples of Jesus grow - take a next step (John 10:27).

Give

Saved people serve people - It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).

Go

Found people find people - Invite someone (Matthew 4:19).

Slide How Do People Grow? We throw the word “grow” around a good bit at Hope Church.
Specifically, we talk about a growing relationship with Christ,
but what exactly does that mean? What exactly is growing spiritually?
