The Gospel: The Heart of the Five G's
The truth is that all of us are at different points on our journey of faith and yet we share the same starting line: the Gospel. “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. You may have heard those words before or seen the scripture reference every time an NFL kicker attempts a field goal. Our prayer is that you truly experience them. How? As you Gather, Grow, Give and Go:
... in worship.
... in love for God & all people.
... in service.
... sharing the hope of Jesus with a world in need of hope.
God created us for community. Sunday services include powerful music, intentional prayer, a relevant message and pews full of people, just like you, trying to figure it all out.
The only way to know who God is and to understand His plan for your life is to study the Bible. Hope provides many opportunities to grow in your faith. The more you learn, the more you’ll want to know even more about God’s love and loving others, including yourself.
As you know and grow, you’ll have a desire to give your time, talents and resources to what really matters. There are many ways to serve at Hope. Appreciation and not obligation will be the driving force as you see God working in your life and the lives of those around you.
When you have good news, you want to share it. In fact, God instructs us in the Bible to share our faith with others. You don’t need to know all the answers; you just need to know that God is in control and His timing is perfect.
