Hope Church Vacation Bible School
At Hope, we base our teaching on the very Word of God. What better way to teach your children about God’s love then at Hope Church vacation bible school (VBS). It is sure to be the best week of their summer, all while learning that Jesus loves each one of us and want us to know Him, too. This year, VBS will be held on the weeks of July 16th – July 20th, July 23rd – July 27th and July 30th – August 3rd. Yes, we know that there is a lot of excitement around VBS time; so we’re here to answer all the frequently asked questions.
Who can attend VBS at Hope?
All are welcome! Classes are available for children who are three years old by April 1st, 2018, all the way up to children entering 8th grade. We just ask that all children are potty-trained.
Can my child bring a friend to VBS?
The answer is, yes! As long as they are in the same department. This is only because our classes are developed to be age-appropriate. Lastly, if your child wants to bring a friend with them, the friend must be registered before going to class.
Can my child come more than one week?
The answer is, unfortunately, no. The reason is that we run the same program each week. You may pick whichever week works best for you. This question ties into the question of, can my child make up any missed VBS days? And again, the answer is, unfortunately, no. The reason is that because of the specific size of each week’s program, we must limit attendance to one week only.
What is the contact number during VBS in case I need to reach my child’s teacher?
We have a hotline. One of our many volunteers will be monitoring the phone line during VBS hours. All you need to do is leave you and your child’s first and last name, as well as your child’s grade.
How do I register for VBS?
Well, aren’t we glad you asked that question! The answer is, online! It’s as simple as 1,2,3 just head to the VBS link and follow the steps.
