Flower City Work Camp 2021

Due to the pandemic, FCWC 2021 will be after school is out instead of during Spring Break.  It will start Monday, June 28 and end Friday, July 2 with no overnights and room for half as many students.  Hope Youth in grades 7 - 12 need to register online now for Flower City Work Camp.  Hope adults are needed as volunteers since each Required Leader gets us 3.5 student spots -- we currently have students on a waiting list to attend since we don't have enough Required Leaders registered.

Student apps close this Friday, March 5, and Required Leader apps close March 19.  Contact Diana Strand for more info.

If finances are a barrier to participation, please contact Diana about available scholarship funds.

weekly AT HOPE YOUTH

Feb 2021 all

Starting February 21, we are back in-person in our Higher Ground meeting space, though we will still offer an online option as well.  Our current weekly program is as follows:

  • 678 WEDNESDAYS from 6:30 to 8:00 -- Wednesday nights for grades 6 to 8 now encompass our former Quest program and have large group sessions led by Roger Dahl or Pastor Greg and small group breakouts with our awesome Small Group Leaders.  You can tune in on our YouTube live or watch later if you can't make it in person on Wednesday nights.  (For more details on how the middle school program integrates with Confirmation preparation, see the Quest tab.)
  • 912 SUNDAYS from 6:30 to 8:00 -- Our Sunday nights for grades 9 to 12 may look different from week to week.  Many Sundays will include large group teaching led by Pastor Greg, Brian Barnard or others and end with our small group breakouts with our fantastic Small Group Leaders.  Some Sundays will have a more social focus, whether it's games or other events and some will be devoted to small group time.  Just like on Wednesday nights, you can tune in on our YouTube live or watch later if you can't make it in person.
  • ONLINE PARTICIPANTS -- We use Zoom for the small group breakout sessions for those who attend live online.  If you are not receiving our email updates (that contain our Zoom meeting ID and password), please click here to be added to our database or message us for the link.
