Service Opportunities for Hope Youth

Whether you need service hours for Quest or school or just have a heart for serving others, there are lots of ways to serve here at Hope Church:

  • To serve at Night to Shine (ages 14+) on February 8, click here.  The deadline to sign up to volunteer is November 15, 2018.
  • We often have service opportunities during Wednesday Fellowship, during the school year.  912 Youth meet for fun or projects in the gym from 6:30 to 7:30 (before heading upstairs for Bible Study at 7:30) and 678 Youth meet after Bible Study from 7:30 to 8:30.  Hope Youth are welcome to bring friends who need service hours for any reason.  During the fall, we do a lot of prep for the Operation Christmas Child Packing Party.
  • Hope's Food Pantry monthly distribution always welcomes help from Hope Youth.  912 Youth may serve without a parent, but 678 Youth should come with at least 1 parent (or bring the whole family to serve!)   Food Pantry dates are on Hope's website here, where there is also additional information for volunteers.
  • To serve Sunday evenings at Bread of Life, please email breadoflife@sharethehope.org.
  • Since 912 Youth meets on Sunday evenings, there are service opportunities for high school youth on Sunday mornings:
    • To serve with Kids' Sundays (Welcome Desk, Greeter Team, etc.), contact Becky Kilbride.  All Hope Youth (678 or 912) can contact Becky if they'd like to help with Kids' Sundays craft prep at home.
    • To serve as a Greeter, Parking Lot Attendant, or Usher, contact Ann Marie Pavone.
  • 912 Youth are also needed for help with childcare for Life Groups , often hosted at Hope members' homes.  If you can help, please email Josie Ziervogel.
