We walk by faith, not by sight – 2 Corinthians 5:7
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us… - Ephesians 3:20 NIV
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. - John 14:12 NIV
God is eternal. God is infinite. With Him there is always “more.” More love for you, more grace for you, more power for you, more peace for you, more life for you. How do you receive God’s “more” for you? First, trust Him enough to ask for it. You do not have because you do not ask, the Bible says. This doesn’t mean that God is a divine vending machine to get anything we want. It means when we are in God’s will, abiding in Christ, we will know what to ask for and God will answer. Second, believe God’s Word and promises. He says, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27. Third, make sure it is beyond what you can do in your own strength. That way God, “who is at work within us” will get all the glory and not us. You will not want to take any credit for it, but humbly give God all the
praise.
